On 21 October 2025, Peter Varga participated in the FinNext: Financial World of Tomorrow conference, specifically in the panel discussion “Challenges of Digital Asset Implementation and Regulation”, chaired by Marek Feder, Chief Methodologist of the Cryptoassets and Innovation Department of the National Bank of Slovakia. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the discussion, Peter Varga spoke about the practical experience that Highgate Law & Tax has in relation to MiCA licence applications. Highgate Law & Tax currently represent 3 of the 8 licensing proceedings so the potential for sharing experience was significant. <\/p>\n\n

In his contribution, Peter Varga specifically addressed prudential requirements and accounting treatment, which are among the key topics for candidates for MiCA authorisation. Panelists included Ivana Sender\u00e1kov\u00e1 from Tatra banka and \u0160tep\u00e1n Kouba from Anycoin. <\/p>\n\n
