In the Slovak tax world, SaS has sparked a discussion about the so-called \u201cEstonian tax\u201d\u2014a model under which companies do not pay income tax at the time profits are generated, but only when those profits are distributed outside the business. Profits retained within the company, reinvested in further growth, or used to cover past losses would thus not be subject to ongoing taxation. The SaS proposals also include a return to a flat tax and the abolition of the transaction tax. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n
