Yesterday, I spoke on a panel at a ta3 conference on investing. A worthwhile event 👏 In addition to basic comments on regulation and taxation of different types of investment assets, I also commented on: 👉 the topic of investment funds and some of the regulatory structures where, thanks to the new tax changes from 2024, no one will ever legally pay any tax or VAT; 👉 the legal and tax assessment of P2P lending platforms, which have become quite popular in Slovakia. Naturally, there was no room at this conference to go into more detail on some of the tax and regulatory frameworks, but we will technically cover that at our conference on 21 November at River Park: https://lnkd.in/e6uEbNmb Unfortunately, it’s already sold out, but please let me know if you’d be interested in coming.
