🏆 Law Firm of the Year 2025 – Capital Markets

Last week, we took home the Law Firm of the Year award in the Capital Markets category for the second year in a row.

I have been working on financial law and capital markets – with minor breaks – since 2015. For the last four years at Highgate Law & Tax, my practice has focused increasingly exclusively on this area.

As someone who once applied to study economic and financial mathematics at Matfyz (unsuccessfully) and eventually ended up in law school, I see this agenda as bridging two worlds that I have always been close to. That is why I am sincerely happy about this award.

Thank you to our clients for the trust they placed in us last year and for making it possible for us to win this award.

Thanks also to Peter and Tomas for the opportunity to be part of Highgate and to fully commit to the development of capital markets consulting.

I am sincerely proud that, even without the support of an international network, we at Highgate are able to identify the needs of the Slovak capital market and help it to function – with honest and creative advice – despite the obstacles often posed by legislation or the socio-political climate.
