Digitisation of accounting is not compulsory, it is voluntary but highly desirable

I interviewed for Doklado. We’ve been living with the Accounting Amendment Act for over 1.5 years now, but some are still avoiding it 🤷‍♂️. Digitization of accounting is not mandatory, it is voluntary but highly desirable ☝️ Yes, I know it is a bogeyman for the “older generations” and I understand them too. Every accountant (young and old) has become accustomed to frequent changes in legislation. However, the problem arises when the accounting programs or the way of work organization (from manual to automated) starts to change as well. “You can’t teach an old dog 🐕 new tricks”, and this is partly true for the older generation of accountants as well. There are solutions, you just have to be open to them 🤗
