Tax audits and protection of corporate and private assets

Our partner, Peter Varga, gave an extensive interview for FORMEN magazine on the topic of protection of corporate and private property. Not only in the context of invasive tax audits and, unfortunately, often illogical conclusions of tax administrators, this topic is topical. It is important to note that the practice not only of tax authorities but also of other state authorities is often arbitrary and unpredictable (more on the topic of arbitrariness of tax administrators in tax audits can be found here). And even relatively minor misdemeanours by a trading company may result in the imposition of a forfeiture penalty on the assets of the owner of the trading company itself. That is why it is now becoming quite standard for entrepreneurs to diversify their business and activities, not only from an economic point of view, but also from a legal protection point of view.
