💍✍️ “Prenuptial agreement” still does not exist in Slovakia.

Even if Slovak entrepreneurs do not have this option to contractually settle property relations also in the context of business, Slovak entrepreneurs still have tools at their disposal that can protect assets from the risks associated with divorce and subsequent settlement of the BSM.

These are, for example:
✅ agreement to narrow or enlarge the BSM,
✅ agreement to create the BSM up to the date of its dissolution,
✅ judicial dissolution of the BSM in case of business risks.

Proper and especially timely adjustment of property relations of spouses, at least one of whom is running a business, can protect not only private but also company assets.
